China’s July Smartphone Shipments Rebound 10% YoY as Flagship Launches Offset Tepid Consumer Sentiment

China’s smartphone shipments rose 10% YoY and 19% MoM in July 2025, reaching 24.5 million units, according to the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). The rebound followed a sluggish June, when shipments declined 14% YoY, reflecting both inventory normalization and new product momentum heading into the second half of the year.
