DSCC Adds More Talent in the US and Japan

Austin, TX -

Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) is pleased to announce the hiring of two additional talented and experienced team members in the US and Japan. David Naranjo has joined the US office and Tomonori Someya has joined the Japan office.

According to DSCC CEO Ross Young, “DSCC is enjoying phenomenal growth as clients embrace both our multi-client reports and consulting services on the rapidly growing and changing display market. In response to the strong demand, we are pleased to add two new strong analysts to better meet our customer’s needs.”

David Naranjo has joined DSCC as Senior Director. David has more than 20 years’ experience in the consumer and commercial electronics industry. David’s professional background includes a wide range of responsibilities in product development, product planning, product management, product marketing, data analytics, and executive /operational management. Prior experience includes working in the consumer and commercial electronics industry as Director of Business Line Management at ViewSonic, Director of Product Planning at Samsung Electronics, Director of Connected Products at Kenmore, Director of Product Management at Mitsubishi Digital Electronics and Group Manager at Panasonic. David has served on CTA committees and the Video Board. He has also been an invited speaker for technical and marketing presentations on consumer and commercial markets for SID, CTA, FCC, Infocomm and NCTA conferences.

DSCC also welcomes Tomonori (Tom) Someya to its Japan team as Director of Display Research. Tom has 17 years of experience in flat panel display (FPD) industry research. After studying marketing at Eastern Oregon University, Tom joined Techno Systems Research (TSR) in 2004, with responsibility for research on FPD and FPD materials, specifically polarizers. He has published many market reports and given talks about the market on many occasions in seminars internally and externally. After seven years at TSR, he joined one of the world’s largest polarizer suppliers, as market research and strategy planning manager.
