Call for Speakers: AR/VR Display Forum 2022

Austin, TX -

DSCC will be hosting the second edition of the AR/VR Display Forum on September 20-21, 2022. This virtual event will be fully dedicated to the display technologies for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. It will cover the latest progress to manufacture and commercialize the displays that will enable immersive AR and VR headsets with high resolution, wide field of view and longer battery life.

The display is a critical component in any AR/VR headset or smart glasses. As large corporations invest in the Metaverse, AR and VR applications will be growing at a fast pace and will represent a multi-billion opportunity for displays.

The event last year was a success, featuring leading companies in the industry, including display manufacturers, OEM/ODM, equipment and component suppliers. For the 2022 edition, the conference will address several key trends and technologies.

DSCC is looking for speakers on the following topics:

  • Display Requirements for VR Headsets and See-through AR Smart Glasses
  • MiniLED Backlit LCD Panels
  • Full Color MicroLED
  • High Resolution and High Brightness Micro OLED
  • Laser Beam Scanning Technologies
  • Waveguide Manufacturing

If you would like to speak, please send a short abstract to [email protected] before July 20, 2022.

Sponsorship is also available, contact us for more information.

The virtual event will enable speakers and attendees from across different continents to discuss the key challenges for commercialization and manufacturing. Attendees will also be able to watch recordings of the presentations after the event.
